What kind of plane should you start with? What kind of transmitter is good? Where to get help in the beginning?
"Oh, thats P-51/ Extra 300 looks nice, let's bought it..."
A beginner pilot should not sacrifice their money on 3D or on war birds.
A safer route to starting a successful hobby is to choose a glider as your first airplane. With a wingspan of about 1.2-2meters.
It flies slowly, giving you time to think in with direction to steer. A good example of an airplane suitable for a beginner is Multiplexin EasyStar 3 and Multiplex EasyGlider 4.

A good airplane suitable for a beginner with radios, batteries and chargers costs about 250-500€. This may flare up a bit when you get a decent plane, you will experience the joy of flying right from the start and you will not be disappointed with a badly flying plane.
What kind of transmitter?
Today, the range is really wide. The price range is 60-2700€. A good basic transmitter has at least 5 channels. I recommend that before buying, go around at the field and "fit" the transmitter in your hands.
Getting started is easier when you join a local airplane club.
A more experienced pilot will help you find the right plane and accessories.
Before the first flight, I recommend purchasing a simulator. With a good simulator, you can practice flying and repairing an airplane is done at the touch of a button.

Learn the basic skills carefully and only then move on to more demanding planes. Don't rush too much but take small steps. Enjoy flying!
And finally.
Don´t quit at the first crash!
You can't avoid it either, and you can get over it. Repair the plane or buy a new one.
