The year is changing and it's time to see what we have got up to in 2024.
Product range;
Horizon Hobby's products (Spektrum, Hangar 9, E-Flite) were removed from the range.
Spektrum was replaced by Master Gigaprop 6 transmitters and KAVAN V20 transmitters. The Kavan family of transmitters will grow during the spring with two new models.
Towards the end of August, the first MyHobby Jet PNP composite planes arrived in stock. These are aimed at hobbyists who want to fly a jet-powered model without having to spend a lot of time building and installing them.
Best-selling products:
The best-selling radio-controlled drones in terms of units were
The best-selling transmitter by unit sales was Futaba's new T26SZ.
Events:
The main event we participated in this summer was the Jet & Prop Open Jämi 2024 in June.
Although the number of participants was lower than expected, it was a nice event.
Sky Dream Hobby also participated in the Jämi Jet & Prop Open 2025 event with a pop-up shop. Come and join us.
In November, the inSkaala 2024 event took place in Pietarsaari.
A nice event, but it's a pity that the attendance was really low, so we'll probably skip this event in 2025.
In September, Sky Dream Hobby was awarded Sipoo Sole Entrepreneur of the Year
This honour feels nice. In September, buns and coffee were served to customers to mark the occasion.
During the year it has been a pleasure to see that many young people have joined the hobby.
Construction and installation service:
The construction, installation and test flying service received a good number of orders during the year.
Tasks ranged from transmitter programming to turnkey delivery.

The year 2025?
The coming year looks promising. Negotiations for a few new brand launches are underway. A lot of new drones will be in stock during the spring. Demand for construction kits is also clearly on the rise. There are also already a few bookings for the construction and installation service for the spring.
The main event for summer 2025 is Jet & Prop open 2025 in Jämi. 27-29.6 is already worth marking in the calendar. Sky Dream Hobby will be on site with a big Pop-Up sales point.
