The Multiplex FunnyStar is a good choice for the first radio-controlled aircraft. Especially if you have to learn to fly alone without help.
FunnyStar is almost indestructible. Personally, while flying in the backyard, I came across a trampoline safety net, a tree .. and without any damage.
I recommend purchasing the Kit + version, this includes 2x servos, motor, cruise control and propeller. In addition, you need a transmitter, receiver and 2-3 pcs 2S-500mAh batteries as well as a suitable charger. If you need help choosing the right products, feel free to contact us.
Building FunnyStar is not difficult, the package comes with clear instructions. The video also shows the different stages of construction. Check that the construction platform is straight!
If the motor rotates in the wrong direction (does not blow air backwards) change the position of two wires (out of three) between the motor and the speed controller.
The movements of the rudder and elevator are adjusted to the movements recommended in the manual. Rudder 25mm in both directions and elevator 20mm up and down. The center of gravity is checked and weight is added to the front if necessary.
The flight time with a 2S 500mAh battery is about 8-10 minutes.
